The Fresno County Public Defender’s Office, Root & Rebound, and Law Students for Community Advancement at San Joaquin College of Law, in partnership with Central California Legal Services, Inc. (referred to below as Partners), is offering this free legal clinic as a public service to qualifying low-income litigants who have a criminal record eligible for expungement. These clinics will be reoccurring on the last Thursday of every month from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm PT. These Partners are NOT YOUR LAWYER, but are volunteers giving you legal information about expungements. There is no attorney-client relationship between you and the Partners who conduct this clinic. Communications between you and the Partners are NOT confidential. The Partners will provide legal information and self-help assistance only. If you need personalized legal advice or wish to be represented in court, you must arrange for services of an attorney. The Partners offering this program are not responsible for the outcome of your case. Participants must come prepared with their ‘RAP’ sheet which includes a list of all convicted crimes and the county where it happened.
